    modelling and optimisation of the thermal management system of an on shore wind turbine ALSTOM RENOVABLES Inspection system for liquefied gas tanks BAHÍA de BIZKAIA GAS Combustion model for new fuels REPSOL More of this type of project Back up energy storage for telecommunications stations Share 48 V 4 kW lithium ion storage system CUSTOMER AMOPACK SECTOR Energy We have developed an electrical storage system using lithium ion batteries for telecommunications applications The main task was to analyse the reliability of the system in order to ensure the system s response throughout the product life cycle To achieve this we selected the best battery for the required application and determined the operating conditions of the batteries based on the application The reliability of the electronic design has also been validated via electromagnetic compatibility EMC testing and field testing Challenges and results A prototype for a reliable storage system using lithium ion technology for a back up application on a telecommunications station Compliance with EMC UNE EN 61000 6 3 on emissions and UNE EN 61000 6 2 on immunity Electrical performance validation at various temperatures Product service life validation through degradation testing Thermal validation with temperature trials between 40 C

    of this type of project Industrialisation of efficient assembly processes and in situ start up Share Efficiency in the commissioning of equipment components CUSTOMER FAGOR ARRASATE SECTOR Industrial capital goods In any project involving equipment components the in situ start up is one of the most critical aspects the technical difficulty itself must be added to a non friendly environment unknown setting scarce resources transport costs language barriers etc and all under the watchful eye of the customer In this project we have addressed all key processes for the in situ start up of various types of mechanical presses manufactured by Fagor Arrasate The project has focused on the detailed specification of all generic processes logistic processes auxiliary processes prior to in situ assembly and the very assembly and start up processes themselves along with all their variants and their implementation conditions which are those that allow the customisation of the overall in situ start up process in a quick and efficient manner according to the philosophy of lean manufacturing Challenges and results Generic key processes for all types of Fagor Arrasate presses Efficient customisable programming patterns for the following presses split frame monoblock servopress flex cell and press lines
