    una herramienta que permite a la sociedad avanzar continuamente intentando mejorar el funcionamiento del mundo que nos rodea Hoy en día nadie es ajeno a la importancia que tiene el trabajo de los investigadores en todos los ámbitos de nuestra vida cotidiana No obstante por lo general la sociedad continúa percibiendo esta labor como compleja y lejana pasando desapercibida en muchas ocasiones la enorme influencia que puede llegar a tener Es por ello por lo que en este sentido desde el área de divulgación del IFCA nos planteamos alcanzar una serie de objetivos Incrementar la aceptación y participación ciudadana en ciencia con el fin de que de esta manera se vea aumentado el interés de los mismos su conocimiento y capacidades para con la ciencia Reforzar el compromiso por parte de los investigadores de nuestro centro con la sociedad tradicionalmente palpable y presente Se conseguirá así reflejar la dimensión social del esfuerzo científico Darle mayor visibilidad a la importancia de las políticas de I D I para el avance de la sociedad promoviendo a su vez una investigación e innovación cercana a la sociedad Apostar por la ciencia y la tecnología es esencial para el avance de las sociedades modernas Por este motivo los ciudadanos deben conocer y entender en qué están trabajando los investigadores y cuál es la utilidad real de estos trabajos De esta forma se conseguirá una ciencia más participativa y se formará una masa crítica concienciada con la necesidad de inversión en I D i La divulgación científica en el IFCA pretende acercar al público general a la ciencia de una forma amena y rigurosa al mismo tiempo creando un canal de comunicación entre los científicos y los ciudadanos de a pie haciendo así más corto el camino que separa a ambos Las principales actividades que
